Bajaj marked their presence in the show by limiting the display of their vast range of motorcycles only to the flagship Pulsar brand. No doubt, the Pulsar 220 and Pulsar 200NS were the show stealers in this Pulsar Mania. Interestingly, there was also a huge air blown mascot of Bajaj fluttering beside the proportionately well designed pavilion.

Vijay Motors Pvt. Ltd showcased their Chevrolet and Subaru brand in the same pavilion. It was the usual affair in the opening day with the Chevrolet Optra Magnum, Chevrolet Beat and Subaru Forester put up on display. However, a surprise was in order with the launch of the fantastic Subaru XV crossover at NRs.91,00,000/- later on in the event.

Daihatsu had just one product in their stall. The tried and tested Terios marked Daihatsu’s presence at the show.

Demak had the DTM 150 and Combat on display.

Ducati had one of the smallest stalls in the expo. But that definitely didn’t stop the crowd from flocking over to their exhibit area where the most exotic motorcycles available in the world were parked. It was a great opportunity for visitors to see the monstrous Diavel, sporty 1198 and the new Hypermotard 821 up close and personal. Ducati has totally revised the Hypermotard for 2013, offering the bike in three versions – Hypermotard, Hypermotard SP and Hyperstrada.

Tata’s stall was very popular amongst the visitors with a host of interactive activities happening at frequent time intervals. Everyone had their sight not only glued to their products, but they had opened up an innovative cafe alongside their stall as well. The Storme Cafe had many enthusiastic visitors storming into the outlet for a refreshing drink or snacks. The Cafe not just entertained the visitors of the show, but provided necessary information regarding products of the company as well. Alongside the Cafe was the Safari Storme, Vista D90, Manza and the newly launched Indica V2 in their exhibit area. With its typical off roader style and sturdy looks, the Safari Storme was a favourite for many along with the sporty Vista D90. They also had an outdoor pavilion for their commercial vehicles Tata Xenon and Tata Ace. At the closing of the show, Tata was also awarded with the ‘Best Stall Award’ for their innovative and interactive ambience of the arena.

Hyundai showcased the Verna, i10, i20 and Eon. They also launched the massive and stunning Hyundai Santa Fe at the show. The new Santa Fe is the latest model to receive Hyundai’s ‘fluidic sculpture’ styling. Hyundai added more excitement to their arena with the addition of the sporty Veloster the second day onwards. The Veloster is one of the latest models to join the Hyundai line-up. This sports coupe is a fresh entry to the nearly non-existent sports cars segment in Nepal.

KIA had on display the Soul and Sportage along with the newly launched Rio and Picanto. The new Sorento would have been exciting to witness at their exhibit area.

KTM Motorcycles launched the much awaited KTM Duke 390 and had its younger sibling KTM Duke 200 alongside. With the combination of the 390cc engine on nearly the same chassis and the crazy power-to-weight ratio, this Duke should be madly phenomenal.

Suzuki had one of the best styled exhibition arena. Suzuki had the A-Star, Alto 800, Swift, Swift Dzire and WagonR in their line-up. With the unveiling of their exciting festive offer, the support staff at Suzuki could be seen busy all the time with bookings and purchases. Things though could have been spiced up at their arena with the Grand Vitara.

The German carmaker launched the powerful VW Cross Polo GT-TSI and the VW Cross Polo at the NADA Auto Expo accompanied with their new Touareg, Tiguan, Passat, Vento and Polo. The CrossPolo has the same body shell as the Polo hatchback except that it has been styled as a go-anywhere vehicle and the Polo GT TSI adds sportiness to the hatchback with a revolutionary TSI petrol engine and 7-speed DSG gearbox.

Yamaha showcased their usual line-up with the R6, XJ6, R-15, FZ-S and SZ-S. As always, Yamaha hosted exciting interactive activities at their pavilion with Fashion Shows, a Video Gaming Centre, Quiz sessions, etc. Actress Namrata Shrestha, the brand ambassador of Ray Z, too graced their exhibit area and launched the Yamaha Ray Z scooter.

Skoda showcased their Indian model line-up along with the imports from Czechoslovakia in their bright green arena. The Skoda Rapid and Fabia was displayed along with the Yeti and Superb. Mahindra’s display ranged from their premium XUV500, compact Quanto to the electrifying Reva e20.

Sachs showcased the unique MadAss 125 underbone motorcycle at the NADA Auto Expo. With its funky design that looks like an overgrown BMX but with a motor in it, the MadAss garnered quite a fan following at the show and distinctively stood out in the crowd.

Premier had their one and only compact SUV – Rio on display in their outdoor pavilion.

SsangYong launched the new Actyon Sports at the NADA Auto Show. It definitely looked better with the sharp front hood character lines and mesh radiator grille that has brought out the rugged good in the new vehicle.
