The 12th edition of the NADA Auto Show, which runs from August 30-September 4, is presented by the Nepal Automobile Dealers’ Association, managed by Global Exposition & Management Services (GEMS) and sponsored by Servo Lubricants. This year’s show features more than 100 vehicles from about 32 companies and other additional auto related companies. Last year’s NADA saw a visitor footfall of nearly 60,000 people and more than Rs 5 billion worth of execrated bookings and sales were recorded. Organizers billed it as the most successful in terms of volume of transactions and number of visitors. The show was inaugurated by the President of NADA, Mr. Anjan Shrestha along with the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Hon. Mr Krishna Bahadur Mahara.


The venue was mapped out to incorporate the participant brands and companies in an easily accessible manner; this included two-wheelers, four-wheelers, commercial vehicles, and other players from the auto industry and banking sector. 17-four wheeler brands in the mix included the likes of Tata Motors, Suzuki, Renault, MG Motors, Hyundai, SsangYong, Volkswagen, Ford, Toyota, Mahindra, Honda, Datsun, Fiat, KIA, Nissan, Skoda, and Mazda; and 16-two wheeler brands included TVS, Vespa, Hero Motocorp, Bajaj, Honda, Mahindra 2-wheelers, Yamaha, Suzuki, Royal Enfield, Bela Eletric, KTM, Yamaha, Benelli, Scomadi, and UM are showcasing their best products in their lineups. Similarly, Escorts, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Eicher and Tata are participating under the heavy commercial vehicles segment. Furthermore, banks and financial Institutions (BFIs), lubricants, tire companies, auto insurance companies, and institutions are also participating in the event.

he expo venue has been properly designed to accommodate every exhibitor with comfortable display spacing which gives an international feel. The enthusiasm of the companies was apparent from the lavish efforts they had made to brand their stalls and highlight their products. For the visitors, it’s yet another fun filled event especially for the auto-enthusiasts of the country. There are several new launches and products that makes the entire event worth a visit. There is no other event like this in the country so we suggest you don’t miss it.
