NADA AUTO SHOW 2017: ALL BIKES

TVS
Jagadamba Motors- TVS have set out well in this year’s NADA Auto Show with the ever popular TVS Apache RTR200 4V, TVS Stryker 125 and a few more offerings for the commuter segment as well.
Bajaj
A juggernaut of a company in the two-wheeler industry, Bajaj have always been keen to showcase their ever-popular products. Bajaj implemented a backyard sort of theme with the Pulsar NS 200 and the Dominar parked there. Their presence is always a subtle reminder of their strength in the market.
Hero MotoCorp
Hero MotoCorp, whose strength lies in commuter motorcycles, had on display their lineup consisting of the Achiever, Maestro, and Pleasure along with the consistent Splendor.
Honda Motorcycles
Honda has been around for a long time in the motorcycle industry of Nepal and they’ve consistently contended for podium position. This year’s NADA Auto Show served as the perfect platform to reestablish their authority in the motorcycle fraternity. The CRF 1000L Africa Twin took center stage along with the CBR 650F and CBR 600R. But the focus for many was the newly launched CB190R. Talk about making a statement.

Suzuki 2 Wheelers
Suzuki 2 Wheelers had their lineup at the 2017 Nada Auto Show the popular Gixxer series getting plenty of attention along with other accessories on display.
Royal Enfield
The thumpers have always been a favorite for many motorcyclists, especially with the overhaul in their brand and imagery in the past year. RE Nepal have not skipped a beat and have displayed their stronghold through their stall at the NADA Auto Show consisting of the Classic, Thunderbird, and the Himalayan. They also had their accessories and gears on display.
Benelli
Benelli have been taking massive strides and have now become a serious contender in the motorcycle fraternity. They brandished their arsenal through their lineup consisting of the TNT 300, TNT 600i, TRK 502 and the TNT 302R.
Mahindra 2 Wheelers
With their direct competitor faltering in the international market and the adventure motorcycle scene looking to pick up, the Mahindra Mojo looks primed to enter the fray with new energy. It was on display at the Mahindra 2 Wheelers stall along with its compatriots.
Yamaha
One of the pioneers in the motorcycle industry of Nepal, Yamaha has been a solid contender and they have successfully reemphasized their importance and strength through their newest launch: the FZ25. Clearly one of the biggest crowd favorites, the FZ25 along with the loved Ray-ZR and Fascino represented Yamaha at the NADA Auto Show 2017.
D-Lifestyles (Vespa and Aprilia)
Vespa have always made it a point to think out of the box, which is exactly what they did at the auto show. They launched the new “Vespa LX” in their uniquely themed stall. Their branding was focused on the theme of ‘Beauty and the Beast’. The Aprilia SR150 race edition played the role of the beast while the Vespa LX was showcased as the beauty. The Aprilia SR150 was customized with afootball theme in mind.
UM Motorcycles
UM Motorcycles stepped things up with an extravagantly designed stall featuring their lineup of motorcycles available to the Nepalese market. Their lineup consisted of the UM Renegade Sport S 300 and the Commando 300.
CFMoto
Although it is new, CFMoto has plenty to boast about. A collaboration between the iconic Austrian design company KISKA Gmbh responsible for KTM Duke models for the global market, this is something that you should look out for. Representing the new gun was the 150NK and the bigger 400NK and 650NK.
If choppers are your thing, Hunter Motorcycles is where you should be headed. Much in fashion to the WWF Undertaker’s American Badass era, the Hunter motorcycles bring a different twist to the motorcycle scene of Nepal. They are certainly attention worthy.
A new competitor in the commuter segment, Runner is an entrant that comes from Bangladesh. While this has taken many by surprise, it certainly looks promising for the segment and it will be interesting to see how it pans out.
SYM
SYM had a decently laid out stall with their assortment of products. Under Sanyang Motor Co., distributed by Shrestha Company Pvt. Ltd/ they had the SYM Wolf 250cc, SYM Fiddle 125cc, Jet 4 125 cc along with its other models.
NIU
New to the scene, NIU showcased their lineup of smart electric scooters. With a futuristic techno design NIU is all set to change the game. They are also the first electric scooter company to conform to the new regulations regarding the requirement of a number plate and registration for electric scooters.
CrossX
Stationing themselves amongst the outdoor stalls CrossX got into its element with an off road theme. They also had Acerbis helmets on display.
Terra Motors
Electric scooters have a small market, but amongst them Terra Motors have been a long-standing player. They had on display their offerings with the Terra Acuto taking center stage.
Lemoto
Lemoto is a UK-based motorcycle company with a focus on Dirt bikes and small capacity motorcycles.
KTM
KTM have been striving on a high note for some time now after the launch of their new KTM 390 Duke and KTM 200 Duke. They displayed their products with a uniquely crafted stall with their product suspended off the ground.
