NADA Auto Show 2022 postponed
Posted On: July 26, 2022 By : AutoLife TeamThe Nepal Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) has postponed its upcoming Auto Show exhibition, which was scheduled to take place from August 23 to 28 (Bhadra 7 to 12). The 15th edition of the Auto Show, which had earlier already been cancelled twice (in 2019, owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, and in February 2022 due to supply issues), has been postponed indefinitely due to the government’s decision to extend the ban on the import of automobiles till Bhadra 14.

The import restriction, first imposed on Baisakh 14, was to be lifted on Ashad 30. However, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply had recently released a gazette announcing the extension of the import ban for another 44 days. Furthermore, the restriction had been tightened with the ban on the import of two-wheelers above 150cc.
