The Neta V is a 4-metre sub-compact electric SUV manufactured by Hozon Auto under the brand name Neta. In the global market, the EV comes with two battery options: a 31 kWh and a 38 kWh; however, here, the company will launch the deluxe model (with 38 kWh battery pack), which provides a range (NEDC) of 401 km on a single charge.

The company provides 8 years or 150000 km warranty in battery, motor, and power electronics; And warranty to be free of defects in body and structure for 10 years or 200000 km.

Design
The Neta V gets a streamlined dolphin-shaped body and its front fascia features a hawk-eye laser headlight. The rear, however, is slightly bulgy. The EV comes with charging ports on both sides–both can be used for fast charging and slow charging.

Inside, the EV’s main highlights are its 14.6-inch tablet-style touch-screen infotainment system (which resembles the infotainment screen of the Tesla model 3) and a horizontal 12-inch digital instrument cluster. Furthermore, the dashboard does not feature any physical buttons other than those on the steering wheel.
Powertrain
The Neta V will be powered by the 38.54 kWh battery–paired with a 70 kW motor–that generates a torque of 160 Nm. The EV can speed up to 101 kmph an it provides a range (NEDC) of 401 km on a single charge.
Regarding charging, the EV is compatible with both fast chargers and slow/home chargers. It takes 8 hours for the vehicle to charge fully via a home charger, and via a fast charger, the EV can go from 30 to 80% in 30 minutes.

Features
The Neta V’s global model comes with a plethora of convenience features such as keyless start, keyless entry system, N95 AC filter, central lock, cruise control, rear-view camera, sensor LCD screen, power windows, electric ORVMs, and USB ports.
For safety, the EV comes with front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-start assist, electric parking brake with auto hold, and tyre-pressure monitoring system, among others.
Neta V price in Nepal
The company has not officially revealed Neta V’s launch date and pricing details yet. However, Nepalis can expect it to launch around June-July. The price for the EV is expected to be around Rs 38 lakh.
