If there was one thing that the Tata Nano missed sorely in its bag of city-centric tricks, it was the lack of power steering on any of the variants. Now, Tata has fixed that issue with the launch of the Nano ‘Twist’, a variant with power steering as its USP. The Twist, apart from its electrically-assisted steering unit with ‘Active Return’ (which self-centres the steering wheel after you’ve made a turn), also gets a reworked driver information system with LEDs, new seats, an easier-to-use clutch pedal and refinements to cut down on Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) levels. The Nano Twist has been priced at IC 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
