NEW TVS APACHE RTR 160 LAUNCHED IN INDIA

TVS Motor Company has launched the new Apache RTR 160 in India. The model will be available in three variants including Carb with front disc, Carb with front and rear disc as well as EFI with front and rear disc. The new TVS Apache RTR 160 has undergone a number of changes as compared to its predecessor, which includes a new frame, Showa mono shock suspension at the rear, a retuned engine, new brakes and styling cues from its elder sibling; the Apache RTR200 4V.

TVS Motor Company has also retuned the engine which now comes equipped with oil cooling as opposed to the air cooled motor on its predecessor. The 159.7cc four valve engine is capable of producing 18.8 hp and 14.8 Nm of torque. This engine continues to be mated to a five speed transmission. The TVS Apache RTR 160 receives cosmetic upgrades in the form of a new fuel tank, head lamp with LED DRLs, LED tail lamp, turn indicators, instrument cluster, double barrel exhaust, all similar to the Apache 200.
