Okaya Energy & E-mobility Group partners with Vriddhi-Shasheela to bring electric two wheelers, charging grid, and battery-swapping stations across Nepal

The Okaya Energy and E-mobility Group, formerly known as Okaya Power Group, the pioneers in energy storage and battery manufacturing for the last 35 years,  has entered into a strategic partnership with Vriddhi-Shasheela Electric Pvt. Ltd. to accelerate the shift to sustainable electric mobility in Nepal. 

This association aims to meet the ever-evolving requirements of the Nepali customer base while addressing their demand for sustainable and  emission-free transportation solutions. Backed by four decades of expertise and presence in over 50 countries, OEEG’s latest venture, Okaya EV, plans to introduce the Faast series of IOT smart scooters, with the segment-first features and the most extended range offered by any scooter in the segment. 

The Faast series e-scooters are powered by a 4.4 kWh battery that offers a range of 140-160 km per charge and a top speed of 70 kmph. This will be followed by multiple launches in the latter half of the year. 

The plans also include setting up a hyper-efficient battery swapping service across Nepal.
