Petrol and diesel prices reaches another record high

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of petrol, diesel, kerosene, and aviation fuel. The prices of petrol and diesel/kerosene have reached a record high of Rs 199 per litre (increase of Rs 21) and Rs 192 per litre (increase of Rs 27), respectively. And aviation fuel (domestic) is now costlier by Rs 19, at Rs 185 per litre.
Despite the price hike, NOC states that the organisation still faces a loss of Rs 13.58 in petrol (per litre) and Rs 13.95 in diesel (per litre). Kerosene, however, makes a profit of Rs 43.06 per litre.
