RENAULT CAPTUR TO BREAK COVER SOON

Renault is all set to launch the Captur SUV in India. Although the 2017 Renault Captur is based on the Duster’s B0 platform, the French automobile manufacturer will position it above the Renault Duster in India.

Feature wise, the Renault Captur will come equipped with all LED lighting including LED headlamps, LED tail lights, LED DRLs and LED cabin lights. Other additions include 17 inch alloy wheels, 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, eight way electrically adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, engine start-stop button. On the safety front, the Captur gets dual airbags, side airbags, Hill Start Assist, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).

The Renault Captur will be offered with a petrol engine as well as a diesel engine. The four cylinder 1.5-litre H4K petrol engine, which produces 106 PS at 5600 rpm and 142 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm, comes mated to a five speed manual transmission. The 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine, which is paired to a six speed manual transmission, is capable of producing 110 PS and 240 Nm of torque.
