MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles in Nepal, has announced partnership with Sharad Vesawkar, prominent middle-order batsman of Nepali National Cricket team, as Yamaha FZS FI’s Brand Ambassador in Nepal.

In an event organized in Kathmandu, Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Managing Director of MAW Enterprises and Sharad Vesawkar signed and exchanged MOU. Now onwards, Vesawkar will appear in a communication campaign of Yamaha FZS-FI across Nepal including print, TV, online advertising and showroom display. The 28 years old right-handed batsman made debut for Nepal against UAE in 2004.

‘I am very much elated and excited to have been associated with Yamaha brand, Vesawkar shared, ‘Yamaha motorcycles have been passion of youth like me. It is matter of pride to represent the sporty, stylish and powerful two-wheeler brand.’ Vesawkar is currently the no. 80 ranked T20I batsman in the world, achieving the 250 rating benchmark in July 2015. His batting played a pivotal part leading Nepal to the 2014 ICC World Twenty20.

Similarly, Vishnu Kumar Agarwal expressed happiness towards the new partnership with Sharad Vesawkar. ‘We want to thank Vesawkar for being with us. We hope that our journey will establish a new benchmark in automotive sector,’ he said, ‘Through this partnership we want to give message to our valuable customers that Yamaha is as powerful, as reliable and as versatile as Sharad Vesawkar when he is in crease.’

‘Bikes with FI technology have many benefits,’ Agarwal said, ‘Great mileage, great pick up, easy start, easy maintenance, high performance and long-lasting maintenance free batteries are few to list.’

Meanwhile, MAW has inaugurated its new dealership in Ratopul, Kathmandu.  Yamaha’s newest dealership Gorkha Manakamana Auto Enterprises will be providing world class ‘3S’ facility (sales, service and spare parts) under one roof.
