SUZUKI BURGMAN | INDIA LAUNCHPosted On: July 19, 2018 By : AutoLife Team
Suzuki has officially launched its Suzuki Burgman Street in India with a price tag of Rs 68,000 on 19th July, 2018. At the same time, most Suzuki dealerships across India had begun accepting bookings at a cost of Rs 5,000.
Inspired by the larger Burgman range sold in global markets, the Suzuki Burgman Street uses the same maxi-scooter styling. It’s also the first made-in-India Suzuki scooter to feature an LED headlight and an all-digital instrument console. In terms of features, this flagship Suzuki scooter comes equipped with a multi-function key slot, large under-seat storage, a cubbyhole below the handlebar and an LED tail-lamp.
The new Burgman is powered by 124.3cc engine producing 8.7hp at 7,500rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The braking hardware unit consists of a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the rear. With a kerb weight of 108kg, the Burgman Street weighs 7kg more than its sibling, the Suzuki Access 125 which sits at 101kg. While the bodywork on the Burgman Street is made of fibre, the Access 125 gets a metal front apron.
