Taro’s Imola scooter enters the Nepali market
Posted On: February 21, 2022 By : Ashmita KCThe Italian brand Taro, which produces its vehicles in China, has entered the Nepali market with the introduction of a 150cc scooter–the Imola. Om Motocorp Pvt. Ltd, under the SG Group, the authorised distributor for Taro, has already got things rolling by setting up a showroom in Narayan Chaur, Naxal.

Design
The Imola scooter gets a sporty design: it comes with a V-shaped LED headlight and an O-shaped rear light that is combined with boomerang-style turn signals. And it gets a split-seat design featuring an elevated rear seat.
Features
The scooter comes with a three-section instrument panel that features an analog speedometer in the middle and a digital multi-information display on each side. Other notable features include a Combined Braking System (CBS), Capacitor-Discharge Ignition (CDI), and a disc brake with an ABS option.

Engine
Powering the Imola is a 149.6cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, OHC engine that generates a power of 8.6 kW at 8000 rpm and a torque of 12.1 Nm at 6000 rpm.
