Tata Motors with their authorized distributor Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd, has announced a “Test-Drive Campaign for Education” from 10th September 2016.

Under “Test-Drive Campaign for Education”, Tata Motors will display their latest cars (Tiago, Bolt and Zest) at several schools across the country as per a pre-decided schedule. As a socially responsible corporate, for each test-drive conducted at these schools; Tata Motors shall donate NPR 500 to the school, which can be used by the school as needed for scholastic purposes or facility improvement.

“The primary reason that deprives children of education is the financial constraints faced by their families. We are trying to do our bit by conducting this Test- Dive Campaign in a way that allows schools to strengthen their scholarship funds so that they can extend the benefits of education to those students that need it the most. I appeal to one and all, to come forward and participate in the campaign; and help in promoting education in the country”, said, Mr. Hemant Puranik, Country Manager for Nepal, Tata Motors.

On the occasion, Mr. Saurav Raj Thapaliya, Vice President, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd said “This is a unique campaign to promote education in Nepal. We hope that thousands of people will come forward to support this test-drive campaign so that a large number of schools and needy students will benefit. We thank Tata Motors for initiating such a campaign in Nepal”.

The test-Drive Campaign is starting with the Gems School in Sanepa and Dhapakhel on 10th September. The school has already developed a plan to use the generated funds for benefitting the needy. The program shall be rolled out to more schools in the course of the forthcoming weeks.
