Tata Punch launched in India
Posted On: October 5, 2021 By : Shuva Raj KhatriTata Motors has launched its new SUV—the Tata Punch—in India. The newcomer SUV, the company says, is the most affordable vehicle in its segment. The sub-compact SUV comes in 14 different variants at the starting price of INR 5.4 lakh, that exceeds to INR 9.39 lakh for the top variant.
Performance
The Punch is powered by a 1.2L Revotron engine—mated to a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission—that generates a power of 86 Ps at 6000 rpm and a torque of 113 Nm at 3300 rpm.

Specifications
The micro-SUV, standing on R16 Alloy wheels, has a wheelbase of 2445 mm. The vehicle uses disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear. As for the suspension, the front uses a McPherson strut (with coil spring), and a twist beam (with coil spring and shock absorber) is used on the rear.

Features
The SUV comes with convenience features such as height-adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, push-start/stop button, auto-fold ORVM, rear arm-rest, cooled glove box, and over 25 utility spaces.

As for safety, the vehicle features dual airbags, ABS and EBD with brake-sway control, reverse-parking camera, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, ISOFIX, parametric alarm, puddle lamps, rear defogger, and puncture-repair kit.
