The 2021 MotorHead MH 150 R Soon to Enter Nepal

The upgraded version of the MH 150 R is slated to enter the Nepali market in mid-July. SLR Techno and Trade, the authorized distributor of Motorhead bikes in Nepal, has recently announced that the 2021 version of the motorcycle will feature multiple technical upgrades and a slew of new design elements.

The MotorHead MH 150 R is one of the seven models offered by SLR Techno and Trade; the list of models available in Nepal comprises the Tekkon 250, Sports 250 (road and off-road versions), MH 200, X-Torque 250, and Scrambler 250. Over its four-and-a-half-year journey in Nepal, the company has offered models in the dirt, scrambler, and crossover segments. MotorHead motorcycles, designed and manufactured by the Chinese company Feugo, are well-known in the market for their power, pick up, comfort, and value for money.

The bikes have gained wide acceptance, especially among entry-level dirt bike enthusiasts, and their performance continues to attract new fans. The upgraded MH 150 R should thus be lapped up. The motorcycle will see major upgrades to the new CG 150 engine, with a balance shaft, attractive BBR aluminium muffler design, an inverted front shock, double disc brakes, a hardy chassis, and a single-axis balancer.

The new MH 150 R is powered by a 150cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine produces 802 kW of power and generates 9.8 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The motorcycle can get to a top speed of 97 kmph. The front suspension will be an upgraded inverted suspension, while the rear uses the previously offered monoshock. For braking, the motorcycle uses a hydraulic disc brake on the front and a disc brake on the rear.

Dimension wise, the new MH 150 R measures 2000 x 700 x 850mm in length, width, and height, respectively. The wheelbase measures 1330 mm and the seat height is 840 mm. The bike weighs 118 kgs (net) and it has a fuel tank capacity of 5.7 litres.

To provide the best ‘3S’ services for its customers, SLR Techno and Trade has created an extended network in the country–in Itahari, Butwal, Chitwan, Pokhara, Surkhet, Dang, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur. The network even extends into rural areas such as Khadbari, Dhading, Manthali, and Humla.

The 2021 MotorHead MH 150 R will be available in a Bloody Red colour option, with eye-pleasing aesthetics.
