Tracker 250: Crossfire’s new model confirmed

Tracker 250 All

A couple of days ago, photos of a black Crossfire being taken for a spin in New Road surfaced on the internet. The model was rumoured to be the ‘Tracker 250’; now, Classic Wheels Export & Import Pvt. Ltd, the authorized distributor of Crossfire motorcycles in Nepal, has officially confirmed the news via a teaser released on their social media handle on 11 August. The company has further announced that they will unveil the Tracker 250 on 17 August.

Tracker 250 All

The teaser also mentioned the model’s tagline–The Everyday Offroader–and we can thus speculate that the Tracker 250 is an on-road, off-road, dual-purpose motorcycle. We’ve gathered that the Crossfire’s new model will come equipped with a 250cc engine, and it is expected to be priced under Rs 4 Lakh. If so, Crossfire will be venturing into new territory, and it will be targeting the mid-market consumer segment, which is currently occupied by the likes of the Hero Xpulse 200, Yamaha XTZ, and Motorhead motorcycles.

If the bike’s price is truly under Rs.4 lakhs, we can expect the bike to have a huge impact in the dirt motorcycle segment, and the bike will perhaps become as popular as their other models in the Nepal market, such as the RM 250, HJ 250, and GR7 250.
