Triumph Rocket 3 GT 221 Special Edition launched in India

Triumph Motorcycles have launched their new Special Edition Rocket 3 GT in India at a price of INR 21.40 lakh. The bike comes in a unique red-and-black colour scheme and for just one year.

The bike features height-adjustable cushioned backrests, easy-reach handlebars, taller windscreen, and wheels with a rather premium dual-tone finish. The bike also comes with signature twin-LED headlights with Triumphmaker’s triangle branding. 


The Rocket 221 GT comes equipped with hill-hold control, cruise control, keyless ignition and keyless steering lock, as well as an underseat USB-charging socket. The instruments are full-TFT and are angle-adjustable. For safety, the bike features a ground anchor, U-lock, disc lock, and alarmed disc lock.


Powering the Rocket 3 GT is a 2458cc triple-engine that delivers a power of 123 kW at 6000 rpm and a torque of 221 Nm at 4000 rpm–which makes for the world’s highest torque on a production bike. The bike comes with a six-speed manual gearbox paired with a torque-assist hydraulic clutch. 


The Triumph Special Edition GT model comes with the standard specification of the base model, including cornering ABS, and cornering traction-control–powered by a sophisticated Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).
