TVS Apache RTR 200 4V RT-Fi BS6 unleashed in Nepal

On September 9, Jagdamba Motors, the sole authorized importer for TVS motorcycles in Nepal, launched the Apache RTR 200 4V RT-Fi BS6 at an event held at Soaltee Hotel, Kathmandu.
The bike comes with three amazing first-in-class riding modes, an adjustable brake lever, and of course, the new BS6-compliant Race-Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-FI) engine, making it rather unbeatable in the 200cc segment.
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V–which features a host of updates, all-new riding modes, an advanced slipper clutch system–comes in two different colour options: blue and black.
Design and features
The Apache RTR 200 RT-FI BS6 has a stylish body whose overall aesthetics remain largely unchanged from the earlier version of the bike. The new bike’s race-inspired graphics, along with its aggressive claw-styled LED headlamps featuring a unique fang design, work together to create a stunning look. The matte blue version of the bike has been inspired by the ‘One Make Champion’ race bikes.
Among the other standout additions to the new model are features to do with smartphone connectivity and the brand’s ‘glide through traffic’ technology. The handlebar switch, for example, offers an instant and easy interface between the rider and the TVS Smart X Connect.
The most exciting updates on the new Apache RTR 200 4V are probably the adjustable brakes, wherein the brakes can be softly adjusted to rider requirements, and the mono SHOWA suspension.
RT-FI BS6 specifications and performance
The RT-FI is powered by a 197.75cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine with patented race-derived O3C that produces 20.82 HP of maximum power at 9000 rpm and 17.25 NM of maximum torque at 7250 rpm. The bike comes with three ride modes: Urban, Sport, and Rain. With just the press of a button, riders can switch between these modes and have the engine adapt to any riding condition.
The bike also comes with the racing double-barrel exhaust, which produces the signature Apache exhaust notes.

The Apache RTR 200 4V RT-Fi comes with a double-cradle split synchro stiff frame, which enhances control at high speeds and in tight corners. And the bike’s mono SHOWA shocks also enable better handling.
