TVS Motors updates its iQube electric scooter for 2022
Posted On: May 19, 2022 By : Shuva Raj KhatriTVS Motor Company has updated its iQube electric scooter for 2022 in India. The iQube is the company’s first and only electric scooter offering in India (debuted in 2020) and it hasn’t made an appearance in Nepal, yet.

The new e-scooter comes with the same design but it offers improved performance, better range, and new features. The iQube has been launched in three variants: the iQube, iQube S, and iQube ST–at a starting price of INR 98.564.
Design and features
The iQube’s design remains unchanged and is kept simple. The e-scooter comes with narrow, horizontal LED lights with indicators on the front and rear as well, and the seat is repositioned for better riding position.
The standard iQube comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster (compatible with the scooter’s mobile application) that displays the battery level (has a low-level battery indicator), distance to empty, turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alert, side-stand indication, and parking-assist indicator. The S model gets a 7-inch TFT cluster with HMI interaction and the ST comes with additional touchscreen features.
Among other notable features are bluetooth connectivity, GSM connectivity, geo-fencing, anti-theft alert, P67-rated battery, Battery Management System (BMS), thermal management system, regenerative braking, and reverse parking assist.

Battery and performance
The iQube’s base and S model is powered by a 3.04 kWh lithium ion battery–mated to a BLDC hub motor–that generates 4.4 kW of power. The top model, ST, comes with a 4.56 kWh battery pack that generates the same motor power as the base model.The iQube comes with two riding modes: Economy and Power, and the e-scooter can speed up to 78-82 kmph, depending upon the model.

For charging, the iQube’s regular models can be charged from 0-80% within 4.30 hours, via a 650 W charger. And it takes 4.6 hours for the top model to go from 0-80% via a 960 W charger. Furthermore, the top model offers a 1.5 kW charger that can charge the e-scooter in just 2.30 hours.
On a full charge, the standard and S variants provide a maximum range of 100 km and the ST provides 145 km of range.

TVS iQube price in India
TVS Motors has launched the new iQube in India in three variants: the standard, the S and the ST, at a starting price of INR 98,564 that goes up to INR 1.09 lakh. The company hasn’t revealed the price for the ST, yet.
