TVS Raider set to launch in Nepal within October

A month after the TVS Raider’s India launch, Jagadamba Motors is all set to launch the bike in Nepal within October. The Raider will be the company’s latest motorcycle in the 125cc segment, next to the Stryker 125, the Max 125, and the Stryker 125 Refresh. The price of the Raider in Nepal is expected to be around Rs 2.50 lakh.

The Raider is available in four colour options: Fiery Yellow, Striking Red, Blazing Blue, and Wicked Black.


TVS Raider 125 specifications 

The Raider 125 is powered by a 124.8 cc air- and oil-cooled single-cylinder, SI, 3-valve engine that generates upto 8.37 kW power at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm torque at 6000 rpm.

The bike is offered with both an electric and a kick start option, and it comes with a 5-speed gearbox option too. TVS has claimed that the Raider 125 can reach a top speed of 99 km/h and that it provides a mileage of 67 km/l.

TVS Raider design and features

The Raider flaunts an aggressive, premium, stylish, and sporty body. The bike also features a new powerful LED headlamp and a colourful engine guard that enhances the bike’s muscularity. The bike gets an all-new split seat made of premium rexin, and the bike’s stance has been designed to ensure maximum comfort.

The Raider comes equipped with a high-tech fully digital console with a speedometer showing real-time mileage, a gear-shift indicator, three trip meters, an odometer, a clock, a top-speed recorder, a fuel gauge, and so on. The console’s multi-colour display allows for better visibility in daylight.

The bike also comes with a 5-inch TFT display with SmartXonnect, featuring turn-by-turn navigation, voice assist, and bike-document display.

Tyres, brakes, and suspension

The TVS Raider gets a new 240 mm roto petal disc brake on the front wheel, to ensure better dissipation of the heat generated by braking friction. (TVS also offers a drum brake variant of the bike–at a lower price).

For the disc model, the bike’s front features a telescopic oil-damped suspension, and at the rear, a 5-step adjustable gas-charged mono shock suspension.
