UNVEILED: DUCATI e-SCRAMBLER ELECTRIC BIKE

There’s no doubt that the Ducati Scrambler is a seductive, entertaining and easily the best retro-looking motorcycle available right now. After unveiling its entire 2016 line-up at EICMA 2015, Ducati has now revealed the e-Scrambler, a fat electric bike, built by Italwin – electric bicycle specialists, under licence from Ducati. It borrows the paintjob and styling from the Scrambler Urban Enduro. dsThe e-Scrambler is powered by a 250W motor having a range of 50km, with a maximum speed of 25kmph. And there are six different levels of power assistance, depending on usage and road surface. The company describes the Fat Electric Bike as a revolutionary product in the field of pedal assisted cycles. Fat 4″ oversized tIres make the e-Scrambler capable of carrying you over uneven surfaces like snow, sand and gravel which may not be accessible on ordinary bicycles. The electrically powered motor combined with the big tires allow you to ride without problems on such rough lands, overcoming the greater friction they might cause.

Well, this is one e-bike we’d love to own.
