Volkswagen has unveiled the all-new 2022 T-Roc. The SUV, built on the MQB-AO platform, will be the latest addition to Volkswagen’s SUV lineup of the Tiguan and the Taigun.
On the exterior, the all-new T-Roc gets some notable changes such as wider grille, slimmer headlights, addition of ID lights (with matrix LEDs), brake-cooling vents, and altered rear bumper. Also, the car is offered with alloy wheels that range from 16 to 19 inches.
Inside the car, the dashboard features an 8-inch digital cluster and a 6.5-inch infotainment system that is upgradable to 8 inches or 9.2 inches, depending on the variants.
The T-Roc facelift comes with two engine options: a 1.5L turbocharged TSI and 2.0L a turbocharged TSI.
The SUV, powered by the 1.5L turbocharged TSI engine–mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission–generates 150 Ps of power and a torque of 250 Nm.
And the one powered by the 2.0L engine generates a power of 300 Ps and a torque of 400 Nm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission and comes with an all-wheel drive system.

The all-new T-Roc comes with a plethora of convenient features such as a dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, head-rest hooks, folding table, USB-charging adapter, and reading light (12V LED).
For safety, the SUV boasts six airbags, ABS with ESC, blind-spot monitoring, collision safety system, and tyre-pressure monitoring system.
T-Roc in Nepal
The T-Roc is yet to make its debut in Nepal. There is no word from Volkswagen Nepal on whether the model will launch anytime soon.
Currently, VW Nepal’s lineup in the SUV segment includes the Allspace and the recently launched Taigun.
