Yamaha R15S V3.0 launched in India

Yamaha Motor India has launched the 2021 Yamaha R15S V3.0. The full-faired  motorcycle will only be available in Racing Blue, at a starting price of INR 1,57,600.


The aerodynamically designed bike comes with many of the same features seen in its predecessors: twin-LED headlights, an LED taillight, among others. The only change that can be seen on the new version is the unibody seat.


Powering the Yamaha YZF-R15S is a 155cc, water-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC engine–mated to a six-speed gearbox–that generates a power of 13.7 kW at 10000 rpm and a torque of 14.1 Nm at 8500 rpm. The bike also comes with Variable Valves Actuation (VVA) and Assist and Slipper Clutch (ASC).


The new R15S V3 comes equipped with a multi-function LCD instrument cluster that features a gear-shift indicator, fuel-consumption indicator, shift-timing light, and a VVA indicator. Furthermore, the bike comes with a dual-channel ABS, deltabox frame, aluminium swingarm, dual-horn, and side-stand engine cut-off switch.
