The Tata Tiago EV, an electric version of the popular Tiago hatchback, is now available for booking in Nepal. The car is being imported and distributed by Sipradi Trading, the authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal.
The Tiago EV is powered by a 50 kW electric motor that produces 69 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. It is equipped with a 19.2 kWh or 24 kWh battery pack that can be charged using a standard AC charger or a DC fast charger. The car has a claimed range of 180 kilometers on a single charge.
The Tiago EV comes with a host of features, including a 7-inch Harman infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker sound system, leatherette seats, automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, and a push-button start/stop system.
The price of the Tiago EV has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be between NPR 22 lakh and NPR 30 lakh. The car will be showcased at the NADA Auto Show in Kathmandu from August 26.
