TVS iQube launched at the 2023 NADA Auto Show with a price tag of Rs 4.29 Lakh

TVS Nepal has launched its new electric scooter–the iQube–at the 2023 NADA Auto Show. The scooter is available in a single variant, featuring a dual 2.25 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that delivers a maximum range of 100 km. The electric scooter comes at an introductory price of Rs 4.29 lakh.

Design and features

The iQube gets a modern and stylish design. The front fascia features a smart LED headlight with DRLs and a small windscreen, and on the rear, the scooter gets a LED taillight and pillion grab rail. Other notable features are its square-shaped mirrors, single-body flat seat, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. Furthermore, the scooter is offered in three different colours: Red, Grey, and Blue.

The electric scooter is equipped with a seven-inch multifunctional touch screen instrument cluster which is integrated with  TVS’s SmartXonnect technology. This technology provides a range of features, including geo-fencing, remote battery charge status, navigation assistance, last parked location tracking, and incoming call and SMS alerts, among others. Other notable features are its side stand indicator, malfunction indicator lamps, 32-litres storage space, and LED units, among others.

Powertrain

The iQube is powered by a dual 2.25 kWh lithium-ion battery pack–mated to a 4.6 kW hub-mounted BLDC motor–that is capable of generating a peak torque of 140 Nm. The company claims that the electric scooter can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 4.2 seconds and it can speed up to 78 kmph. For charging, the iQube can be charged from 0-80% in around 4.5 hours via a 650 kW portable charger. And on a single charge, the scooter provides an approximate range of 100 km.

Jagdamba Motors, the sole authorised distributor for TVS in Nepal, has launched the single variants of the iQube at an introductory price of Rs 4,29,900. The electric scooter serves as a rival to the Segway N100 and the Yadea S-Like.
