Honda has introduced a brand-new SUV called the Elevate in the Nepalese market. This five-seater SUV is available in five different variants: the SV, the V, the VX, the ZX, and the DT (Dual-Tone colour). The Elevate is powered by a 1.5-liter i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine and it comes with two transmission options. The company has offered the SUV at a starting price of Rs 56.35 lakh.
Design
The design of the Elevate SUV is similar to other Honda’s models like the CR-V and the HR-V. The front fascia features an alpha-bold signature grille and LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and turn indicators. At the rear, the SUV features LED tail lamps with dual trails of LED lights. The SUV is offered in seven monotone colours: Phoenix Orange Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic. Additionally, the company also offers the SUV in three dualtone colours: Phoenix Orange Pearl with Crystal Black Pearl roof, Platinum White Pearl with Crystal Black Pearl roof, and Radiant Red Metallic with Crystal Black Pearl roof.
Inside, the SUV comes with a deluxe brown and black interior and leather-upholstered seats. The dashboard features a three-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls, a seven-inch full colour TFT instrument console, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Powertrain
The Elevate is powered by the 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine that is capable of generating a peak power of 120 hp at 6600 rpm and a peak torque of 145 Nm at 4300 rpm. For transmission, the engine comes mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, the company claims that the SUV can speed up to 160 kmph.

The Elevate comes equipped with Honda Sensing, the brand’s exclusive advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), which includes features like collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation system, lane keeping assist system, adaptive cruise control, auto high-beam, lead car departure notification system. Moreover, the SUV also come with notable features such as 6 airbags, lane watch camera, ACE body structure, hill start assist, vehicle stability assist, agile handling assist, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, multi-angle rear camera with guidelines, emergency stop signal, wireless smartphone charger, and 17-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, depending upon the variants.
