Suzuki Nepal has launched the all-new Grand Vitara, pricing it at Rs 63.99 lakh. The newly launched Grand Vitara is available with two different powertrain options: Smart Hybrid and Strong Hybrid. The Smart Hybrid variant of the new Suzuki Grand Vitara comes in four models: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. On the other hand, the Strong Hybrid powertrain option for the Grand Vitara is offered in two versions: Zeta+ and Alpha+.
Design and features
The front design of the Grand Vitara includes a broad grille with piano black accents and a noticeable chrome strip at the center, housing the Suzuki emblem. At the rear, the car features the distinctive NEXTre’ taillights characteristic of the brand. The vehicle is available in six single-color options: Blue, White, Silver, Grey, Brown, and Red, as well as three dual-tone choices: White-Black, Silver-Black, and Red-Black.
The interior of the SUV showcases a cabin with a dual-tone black and bordeaux color scheme, along with ventilated seats. The dashboard is equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel featuring integrated controls, a head-up display, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, the vehicle features a panoramic sunroof.
The SUV get notable features such as six airbags, 360-view camera, reverse parking camera, ESP, vehicle-stability control, ABS with EBD, hill-hold/descent control, rear parking sensors, ventilated front seats, keyless entry, push start/stop button, and automatic AC with rear AC vents, among others.
Powertrain
The Grand Vitara is available with two distinct powertrain options: Smart Hybrid and Strong Hybrid. The Smart Hybrid variant of the Grand Vitara is equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine that delivers 128 hp of power and 136.8 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the SUV incorporates an extra 12V6Ah battery to enhance performance and offers four AllGrip driving modes: Auto, Sport, Snow, and Lock. On the other hand, the Strong Hybrid Grand Vitara features a 1.5-liter petrol engine combined with an AC Synchronous motor, producing a maximum power output of 91 hp at 5000 rpm and a peak torque of 122 Nm within the range of 4400-4800 rpm. The engine is linked to an e-CVT transmission.
