Mahindra has introduced its highly awaited flagship SUV, the XUV700, to the Nepalese market. The XUV700 boasts premium features, is available in both five and seven-seater configurations, and exclusively offers a petrol engine. This new mid-size SUV is accessible in three different models: the AX3, the AX5, and the AX7–at a base price of Rs 74 lakh.
Design
The XUV700 comes with a robust and daring design. The SUV’s front fascia presents a fresh grille bearing Mahindra’s updated logo, along with LED headlights featuring distinctive C-shaped LEDs. At the rear, the SUV is adorned with split arrow-shaped tail lights. Additionally, the vehicle is available in a selection of five different colors: Everest White, Midnight Black, Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, and Electric Blue.
The interior of the SUV has been enhanced to provide a more spacious cabin and more comfortable seats upholstered with premium materials. The dashboard includes a three-spoke steering wheel with integrated controls, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Engine
The XUV700 comes equipped with a 2.0-liter Turbo Petrol engine featuring Direct Injection (TGDI). This engine produces a maximum power of 197 hp at 5000 rpm and a peak torque of 380 Nm at 1750-3000 rpm. The engine can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.

The XUV700 has achieved a top-tier five-star rating from Global NCAP for safety. It offers a comprehensive range of safety features including seven airbags, ABS with ESP (Electronic Stability Program), ISOFIX child seat anchors, smart-pilot assist, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, high-beam assist, lane-keep assist, driver-drowsiness detection, electronic parking brake, and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). In terms of convenience, the SUV provides impressive amenities like a six-way powered driver’s seat with memory and welcome retract function, one-touch access to the third row with seats that can be easily folded flat, advanced high torsional rigidity for improved handling, automatic headlights, automatic rain-sensing wipers, and wireless charging, among other features.
Mahindra XUV 700 price in Nepal
Agni Incorporated Pvt.Ltd, the authorised distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, has launched the XUV 700 in three variants: the AX3, the AX5, and the AX7–at a base price of Rs 74 lakh and it goes up to Rs 1.10 crore.
