Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the eagerly awaited scooter model, the all-new Dio 125, in the Indian market. The Dio 125 features subtle design modifications, fresh color choices, enhanced features, and a new 125 cc engine that resembles the Grazia 125 models. The scooter is available in two versions, the Standard and the Smart, with a base price of INR 83,400.

Design and features
The new Dio 125 features eye-catching design elements like LED headlights and taillights, a split grab rail, a dual outlet muffler with chrome covering, a sporty exhaust, and 12-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, the scooter is available in seven fresh colors: Pearl Siren Blue, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Night Star Black, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, Mat Sangria Red Metallic, and Sports Red.
The scooter is equipped with a fully digital instrument panel that provides data such as speed, fuel level, trip meter, and time, among other details. Additionally, the new Dio 125 includes a Smart Key system that offers features like smart locating, smart unlocking, smart starting, and smart security. Moreover, it incorporates Honda’s idling start-stop system, which automatically turns off the scooter when it comes to a halt to save fuel. Notable features also include LED lighting, a front disc brake, spacious 18-liter underseat storage, an external fuel cap, a noiseless start with ACG, an engine cutoff when the side stand is engaged, and a 10-year warranty (3 years as standard, with the option to extend the remaining 7 years).
Powertrain
The Dio 125 shares its engine with Honda’s Grazia 125 and Activa 125 models. It is driven by a new 123.92 cc, four-stroke, SI engine that can deliver a maximum power output of 8 hp at 6250 rpm and a peak torque of 10.4 Nm at 5000 rpm. The scooter comes with a 5.3-liter fuel tank and offers an estimated fuel efficiency of approximately 45-50 kmpl.

Honda Dio 125 price in Nepal
Honda India has launched the all-new Dio 125 in two variants: the Standard and the Smart–at an introductory price of INR 83,400 and INR Rs 91,300, respectively. The scooter serves as a rival to the Suzuki Burgman 125 Street and the TVS NTorq 125. There is no official news regarding its launch in Nepal, but the fans can expect it to come at a starting price of Rs 2.80 lakh here.
