Honda Nepal has launched the all-new Dio 125 at the 2023 NADA Auto Show. The new Dio 125 comes with minor design changes, upgraded features, and a new 125 cc engine similar to the Grazia 125 models. The company has offered the scooter in two variants: the Standard and the Deluxe–at an introductory price of Rs 2.99 lakh.
Design and features
The all-new Dio 125 boasts a sporty design, featuring notable design elements such as LED headlamps and taillamps, a dual-outlet muffler with a chrome cover, a split grab rail, a sporty exhaust, and 12-inch alloy wheels, among others.
The scooter comes equipped with a fully digital instrument console that displays information such as speed, fuel level, trip metre, and time, among others. The scooter also features Honda’s H-Smart key system, offering functions like smart find, smart unlock, smart start, and smart safe. Other notable features include its LED units, front disc brake, and 18-litre under-seat storage, among others.
Powertrain
The Dio 125 adopts the same engine as the Grazia 125 and Activa 125 models. The scooter is powered by a new 123.92 cc, four-stroke, SI engine that is capable of producing a peak power of 8 hp at 6250 rpm and a peak torque of 10.4 Nm at 5000 rpm. Furthermore, the scooter comes with a fuel tank capacity of 5.3-litre and it provides an approximate mileage of 45-50 kmpl.
